engineering talent is good- if services counted in the organization it would be ok. There main concern is GMD from hardware/software so that is ok if you want to work for CDW. But strategically their engineers are great but their PS buckets don't count.

Experience overall is very unprofessional. Micro-managed by VP and CEO, daily, weekly.... Weekly reports of all appointments you've ran. Only care about deals for hardware/software ... bringing in every deal that you can .. idea of cultivating enterprise account relationships when you are new are not taken into consideration. So get ready to tire yourself out with daily waste of time cold calling

Management is great. Thety have a distributed workforce but are able to manage the skills and technology to provide excellent service. Technical skills of the individuals are excellent. The individuals understand the technology. The compny provides the necessary technology, tools, incentives, and training to keep the technical skills at the forefront of the industry. The company uses social media better than other companies for which I have worked. There is good interaction between sales and technical, with sales knowing when to have technical representation on a call.

A distributed workforce imposes its own challenges. Centralization versus a regional focus creates conflicting strategies and balancing implementation is a challenge. A virtual workforce creates virtual distance and reduces communication. Social media can assist in this area, but it takes time. The use of social media is good, but sales could use it better. The company is building a knowledge management implementation, but it takes time.
