The organization can be very functional and hierarchical without adequate resources and assistance to help the ground troops perform their work. It can be really difficult at times to perform job functions because the tools lack integration, and the technology support can be unreliable or slow at best. There are a lot of manual processes and workflows. The organization heavily relies on outsourcing/offshoring, which can pose a very taxing challenge when working with remote teams where language and cultural barriers can be really challenging; however, even domestic peers and workers could be impatient and uncooperative. My own manager was very hands-off, especially when issues escalated, which could be frustrating or disconcerting. Lastly, quite a few holidays and paltry benefits.
