Some of the staff were friendly and easy to work with while others kept mostly to themselves. Work environment was casual and informal. Management and most staff had an open door philosophy. Some staff were collaborative.

Certain staff were challenging to communicate with due to language barriers and their indifference/hesitance in sharing critical information. This resulted in most staff not developing accurate and detailed understanding of the products' true functionality and specs, and a limited understanding of all the possible field applications for the company's product line.

The GM is an engineer so he supports me.

The products are bad here with nothing but massive firmware issues that are not easy to fix and requires a full rebuild. The engineering department is non existent with only two others here. When I talk with sales I found out that sales has been decreasing year over year for the past five years. The long term employees here told me that the new owner is an Accountant and doesn't know anything about the industry we are in and laid off four people. People are unhappy here but are afraid to voice their opinions because I heard those that do get fired. There is no direction here or growth at all.
