Vantaggi
There are genuinely good people here who do care about their work and teammates. The job is relatively stable, though that stability comes more from the absence of strong competition than from company strength.
Svantaggi
For years, this company has failed to produce products that reach the market or serve a meaningful user base. There is no real agile culture. Instead, people are more focused on pleasing each other and climbing the ladder than on building something valuable. As a result, the reorg feels like a joke—promoting individuals who lack the necessary expertise.
The culture is highly political, where favoritism and polished presentations matter more than substance. There is little true vision or leadership; most of management is absorbed in operations and managing upward. While the company claims it wants to “run like a startup,” it consistently undervalues high performers while putting ineffective managers into positions of influence.
Even all-hands meetings reflect this disconnect: they are lifeless, with minimal participation outside of a few cheerleaders in HR and the COO. The deeper issue is cultural. Politics run so deep that people are afraid to disagree and overly eager to please—leaving the company blind to reality and incapable of honest self-evaluation.
