They pull multiple traps to keep you working for them (they always have a reason to threaten with legal action if you want to leave even though your contract ends). They don't consider cost of living when they relocate you to the project they assign you. I literally stayed at a base salary of $30 per hour living in NJ for two years. I only got a raise "out of good faith" when I presented my resignation, and told me that if I leave instead of accepting, they would raise a lawsuit against me since my "project didn't end" even though the contract had.
