-Recruitment for position was chaotic, approval from higher ups delayed offer. -Clear favoritism of Italian employees over non-Italian, everyone that was well liked and successful had some connections. -Micromanagement was rife, no proper training, policies were explained halfway through and onus was on you to somehow make it all work. -Out of date overly manual systems and complicated approval chains slowed the process down and made tasks hard to complete. -Middle management so overworked had no time to assist, was also hyper critical and admonished you for any error made. -General lack of organization in HR processes, a lot of cases with employees felt rushed and confusing. -Team generally overworked with little acknowledgment from middle management and none from senior management.
