1. The zeal most people have here for work tends to suck you in. This ends up affecting the work-life balance, as you too start emulating the people around you thinking of just work work work all the time!

When I joined Ensine almost 3 years ago, it used to be the most relaxed, efficient and highly motivated company I had ever worked for. We reported directly to the CEO and it was a completely lateral team, each covering for the other.

Unfortunately, as the company expanded, things changed. Hierarchies grew more rigid, senior management progressively grew more aggressive and the kind of interaction we had with our boss slowly dwindled over time. For that matter, overall employee benefits also declined in the last year or so.
