Vantaggi

Unlimited vacation (although you can't take any because there is no backup) Remote working

Svantaggi

Management - micromanagement. The manager just wanted everyone to report to her and she knew nothing about what everyone did. She was just protecting her job. Former CEO Nathan Adams is a bully and shady as heck. Current CEO is very nice but not a great communicator Lies-Lie all the time. Payroll-don't get me started - missed 4 or 5 payrolls in calendar year so far. Always an excuse why payroll is late. Always someone else's fault - payroll processor (Gusto), changing banks, etc. No notice except for after hours night before payday or morning of payday. When you ask when you are going to get paid or why this is happening you get made to feel guilty for asking and that we just need to believe them and wait. Workload - no work/life balance Communication - they do not communicate. When resource actions were taken, there was no communication. When you ask once again you get made to feel guilty for asking.

Vantaggi

Epic Strategies is a full service marketing agency and consulting firm lead by an aggressive CEO with strong vision. He's empowered his teams and culture to succeed across a variety of key verticals and incentivized this growth via strong culture and resources.

Svantaggi

As with any high-growth organization things can get a bit difficult at the 10 foot level. There is also a bit of a pay gap when compared to similar orgs but that seems to be being addressed.

Vantaggi

I liked the work that I did, and the health insurance is good. That's really all there is to say that is good

Svantaggi

After the CEO was ousted in a hostile takeover of leadership and ownership, the new CEO stepped in (was the COO, Bonnie). Somehow, it got worse. In the span of just 2 months, payroll was missed twice, without even an apology. There was zero new company direction after such a big change, and every few weeks more people are let go. 2-3 clients per week cancel their contracts and leave, completely due to the EVP of Account Services poor leadership of her team and management of clients (Erin), and also due to poor marketing performance. Which is expected, since they let go nearly the entire marketing team and there wasn't anyone left to do the actual work. It's hard to explain how bad the situation is, and how poorly people are treated.
