      Equifax has a friendly work environment and there are plenty of opportunities for career development. This is a well-established company and a global business spread over 24 countries. As a starter, I have access to a larger network with people from different cultures, backgrounds, different levels of expertise. The company is providing data solutions for big companies in Australia and also other countries like NZ, Japan etc. This is the best place for someone who love working with data and who needs to establish a career in the data science path.

      There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
