It's a big and multicultural company. The good things have to be said and the company has good benefits, like the $400 each year to spend on tech things, or a gym membership, books, everything you want to stay mentally and physically healthy. We had flexibility in our working hours, you just had to maintain good metrics, or that is what they said. But in the end, that didn't matter, what mattered was if you were one of the protected members of your leader. They provide healthcare benefits, but only with one company, and it is a bit expensive as they only provide a percentage of the cost. In my country, a VIP Health Insurance is cheaper than that. The best of the benefits is the English class.

As good things are said, bad things must also be said, and I don't know where to start. The company is doing a big, hard layoff even though they mentioned that they don't do layoffs. Good and competent people are losing their jobs due to poor management by department leaders and managers. The last 7 months all the work done was under pressure. It was constant harassment to meet ridiculous metrics that didn't even care if you were on top, they put you on PIP with the excuse that they want the best for you and you need to be on PIP to be able to do your best. The leaders of these teams are only there to fill a position but they don't lead anybody, they only talk with those guys who they want to protect and ensure their jobs. If you are a civil engineer, an architect, or any professional, don't apply to any job position on the construction team (well if they can save that team), you can apply for a better position with higher pay and with responsibilities that are aligned with your career, not to be at the company trying to fix the messes of people that only want to sale and doesn't care about anything. But is not the sales team's fault, they too work under pressure with constant harassment.

Something I love about Ergeon is that they invest in their employees abilities rather than their impact on they have on the team. This means they will help either mold you into into the position you are working for or they will help you find another place that helps you grow even more.

Something I’ve always struggled with at Ergeon is the reality that we’re a startup and we operate very lean. Joining the company as a teenager and spending all of my twenties here has meant making real sacrifices—especially around finances. There were a lot of things my friends were able to do, like travel or enjoy certain experiences, that I simply couldn’t afford at the time. I know it’s different for people working in other countries or in different circumstances, but for someone living in the U.S., it hasn’t always been easy. Still, I’ve stayed because I believe in what we’re building and the long-term vision, even if the path hasn’t always been comfortable.

Very focused on AI integration to improve organizational performance, but the customer experience seems to come second to this. Very driven by the sales targets and can cause pressure to perform. Commission for sales is on the very low end.
