Vantaggi
If you're a contracted employee (i.e filling in a contract with the government through essnova) this is a great gig for you because the Government has already set your pay and holidays.
Svantaggi
If you're an office employee (working directly in the Birmingham office under the CEO) it is awful. You are severely overworked and under-payed. What they do there is Federal Marketing so its stressful, you work under heavy deadlines. You will be overloaded with tasks, all of which have "high priority". You will be stressed out to the point of Nightmares about missing the deadlines for responses and not creating the correct Quotes. You will be hounded at all hours by the CEO about tasks even when you are off the clock. The CEO micromanages to the point where every task becomes a huge painful and slow process. after only a month, you will be pulling you hair out from stress and rage. It is not worth it for the $27,000-$32,000 They pay to deal with that. Only take this job if you're dying for experience or are desperate. I can not stress how quickly you will become burnt out at this company. Essnova does not cover any benefits (blue Cross blue shield). so if you need health insurance, youll have to fork over half your paycheck for it. you get five sick days and five days of vacation. Your sick days DONT ROLE OVER! You get no holidays except for Christmas and thanksgiving despite being an office job that works with the federal government. They do not give federal holidays off. When you interview, the CEO will tell you to "look at the bigger picture". tell you that once they expand you can be in any department you want. he does anything he can to get you to work way too hard for his dream for minimum wage. this company was founded in 2005 and still only has 2 employees in office. dont fall for the lies.
