Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I'm very sorry you feel this way about your time at Bolt. It pains me greatly that we weren't able to find a good solution and had to decide to not renew your contract. We value feedback very much and we're always looking to improve every facet of our organisation. So even though these things unfortunately did not become clear to us during your time working with us, I still want to thank you personally for taking the time in retrospect to point out how you perceived things and how this made you feel. Again, I'm truly sorry we did not find a way to make things work. However, I do want to bring some perspective to the statements as they're being put forward, since they are a poor reflection of the day to day reality as perceived by the majority of our employees. First some context: during this period we grew from 7 to 40 people in a few months, setting up multiple new teams in parallel, without having enough time to completely setup processes, systems and workflows in advance. Even though this is a super exciting challenge and provides a lot of opportunities, it also puts more stress on everyone involved. This is a natural part of any startup that becomes a scaleup and maybe even more so for hardware startups where there are many disciplines and processes needed. Every team member has access to this and can anonymously post suggestions, issues, comments or complaints in there and every single one gets read by HR and management. We take all these to heart and try to improve our organisation, process, structure, systems and management accordingly.
