The actual day-to-day work was enjoyable. The client seemed to genuinely care about people’s well-being, and our direct team leads were supportive and kind. They tried their best to advocate for us. Pay was solid for the role $20 - $25 hr., and working from home made for a really healthy work-life balance.

The benefits were terrible. Medical was extremely expensive and didn’t offer good coverage. Training was mostly self-led, both during onboarding and ongoing. Trainers often couldn’t answer questions without checking back later, and most workshops felt like box-checking exercises.

sometimes communication between agency and government is unclear, but I think that's more the government side than apex's doing
