Vantaggi
>good pay >40 hrs a week + benefits
Svantaggi
>bureaucratic people that don't know what you do as an IT person, and consistently annoying with what is basically busy work--in IT >lots of long phone calls with people that could have been an e-mail >having a large list of requirements for basic IT jobs. Someone entry level without a degree could do a lot of the jobs that people with masters degrees could do in their position >when it was getting towards the end of my contract, they wouldn't say anything >we were forced to move their equipment DURING the first few weeks of COVID-19, and management made jokes like "oh, our little non-essential move, tee-hee" and "oh! I'm so tired of being holed up in my house, at least you all get to go to work!!!" excuse me? >having to research new things to learn how to do because they don't have anyone that could help us because the contracts were expired. >I'm sure others in this career field understand being called "IT" and being asked for help with literally anything with an electrical pulse. That's what this job is. Wasting your tax dollars.
