A very difficult place to work. Certain managers and coaches seem to have free rein to say whatever they like, protected by senior leadership, while customer service agents are often spoken to and treated like children. Bullying is common, and many agents are too scared to speak up because doing so often results in the situation coming back on them even worse. In the last year alone, an estimated 45–50 people have come and gone from the customer service department. Raising concerns with HR leads nowhere — issues are consistently brushed under the carpet. Favouritism is widespread; if your face fits, you can do as you please, while others are unfairly singled out. Many talented agents were also held back from showing their true potential because they feared upsetting those with friends in high places. Some genuinely fantastic people have worked in the department, but most ended up leaving, many without even completing their notice because they simply couldn’t bear the environment any longer. A significant number also went off sick due to the negative impact on their mental health, with some even requiring medication. As a business, several departments operate well, and the company overall isn’t inherently bad. However, when it comes to the customer service department, it’s best avoided entirely.

Expect top-tier favouritism, chaotic management, and absolutely zero support when things go wrong. Benefits? None. Sick pay? Don’t be ridiculous. You’ll be working overtime for free, of course—because apparently your time isn’t worth paying for. And if you do get sick, don’t worry—they’ll still find a way to criticise you for it or even fired. Communication is non-existent unless it’s to point fingers, morale is rock bottom, and any effort you put in goes completely unnoticed unless something isn’t perfect. Honestly, if you value your mental health, financial stability, or basic respect… you might want to run in the opposite direction.
