Vantaggi
WFH during pandemic. Not the worst pay for engineers. OK place for Japanese junior engineers without work experience.
Svantaggi
Tries to market itself as an open, socially progressive tech company. Internally it operates in closed silos that don't communicate with each other. Employees are constantly and carelessly shifted around in a questionable attempt to spread know-how, which allows for little growth or ownership by engineers. Highly skilled employees are first overworked and then pushed out of the company if they do not bow down to low quality mid-management, making it very hard to build an engineering culture of any significance. This leaves mostly contractors and cheap lowly skilled employees to work with as tenure for highly skilled employees is short (check on social media). To summarize, typical Japanese "AI consulting firm" that tries to quickly push low quality projects for clients to look good on paper in the short-term.
