Vantaggi
There used to be, but not any more. All the employees that were there before the company went corporate talked about how management and supervisors were firm but friendly, everyone enjoyed their job, and bonuses were a common occurrence. Now, I know other people and places that get paid less that have more pros than this company.
Svantaggi
As soon as we were taught the new system on the computer, everything else started to fall. For one thing, corporate became more hands-on and watched our every move when it came to entering information into the new system. Almost everyday a mass email was sent to specific departments that were falling behind and all of us were being reprimanded fur not doing what we were supposed to do. The truth is we were, however it was the work flow that was increasing and the fact that we were always short-handed made things worse, so rather than hire new people, the company's answer was to cross-train certain people to do double the work and stay late for "mandatory overtime". When they finally did hire someone new, it was always someone working through a temp agency, so the new person at most lasted for 3 months, and the ones that they did keep permanently were basically useless (not doing work, being disruptive, etc...). All the rules kept changing so what you learned previously was obsolete unless they decided to revert back to the previous way. All in all, the sheer amount of miscommunication was atrocious.
