Woman owned company that is small in number of employees but big in ideas. It is a progressive environment and benefits package. The benefits package is very good. My job is on a contract with the government which is stressful but the company management is very supportive. They make every effort to work with people that run into issues in their positions that hinder their progress. The CEO is a strong female role model with a lot of great experience. She is the type of person that causes the thought "I want to be like her when I grow up" to pop into your head. If you are a woman in engineering, I recommend this company. Definitely check it out. I am also impressed with managements dedication to the customer. Absolutely client oriented. Seriously - excellent small company bound to grow. They are collecting a lot of people with a lot of great experience. Very impressive management team and very impressive technical skills. Also - I love that there is very little political nonsense. Seriously. These days, companies often have more managers than they have engineers. Not this one. Love the company. Love working with the people they have hired.

My position is work from home. That has benefits and negatives that one should consider carefully. I am inclined to work more hours. It probably depends on the individual. Also, everything depends on the contract you are on. Excel does a lot of government work. You may get on a stressful high priority job. Consider your personal priorities because you are expected to be at work and support your client and team during work hours on government contracts during required hours.
