Vantaggi

Easy job to do. No not need any extra knowledge (except for language). Basically you are just doing cold calls all day long with a slightly better salary

Svantaggi

No possibility to grow (at least not at the same country), the micromanagement is a killer (you are observed and your every move is tracked), supervisors are more of a police to follow if you work enough than to really help you with something, company benefits are all right compared to start up but quite low compared to corporations, work is VERY stereotyp

Vantaggi

I really love working at Expedia. The perks and benefits are great and I feel like I have just the right amount of work life balance. I feel fortunate to have a manager that listens to my goals and aspirations and does their best to find a path forward.

Svantaggi

I’ve found the promotion cycle to be quite difficult to navigate, with promises made and often overlooked. To get a promotion, you have to work extremely hard to get visibility across the board often outside your remit.

Vantaggi

Good pay, supportive manager, and genuinely pleasant colleagues.

Svantaggi

Frequent reorgs and shifting strategic direction made it difficult to build momentum or plan long‑term. Over time, contractor roles became increasingly narrow and production‑focused, which limited opportunities for meaningful skill development. Responsibilities that originally included project management were reduced to primarily email production work. There’s also a broader corporate pattern where work is expected to be completed exactly as written, with little room for judgment or improvement. Even small, quick optimizations can lead to pushback rather than appreciation, creating an environment where going “above and beyond” requires multiple layers of approval — which defeats the purpose of being proactive in the first place. Finally, there’s an in‑office expectation (less strict than for full‑time employees, but still present) for work that can be done entirely remotely. This tends to benefit highly social personalities, but for those who prefer focused, independent work, it feels unnecessary. Social dynamics also play a noticeable role; if you’re not immediately well‑liked or you make a single early mistake, it can create a self‑fulfilling perception that’s difficult to overcome.
