I worked in the Ipswich office for nearly two years and was easily the top sales agent. This company will employ people from non sales backgrounds and expect them to hit sales targets with no real sales training. The management is useless and do not really posses any real management skills. Team leaders are hopeless and have no idea how to coach/motivate individuals.

If you show any real flair for sales you are held back and not allowed to progress not just in my case but in that of others also. I started employment within a lively exciting office, the reality now is that this company is sinking rapidly and unless you get out now you are destined to sink with it. Individuals are in the wrong positions I.e managers and team leaders should not be of that status when they are. No real company structure. Industry is too saturated and in my opinion has 2/3 max life left. DO NOT APPLY HERE

The bonus structure is good, the hours of working are good, training is quick and supplies you with the relevant information instead a load of nonsense that you don't need to know, salary is ok.

Svantaggi

Targets are unrealistic most of the time, the data isn't great and your constantly calling people who have been rang a million times before or people who don't even qualify. It's pretty hard to sell bricks to someone who lives in a caravan.

Decent bonus structure, some limited career oppurtunities

I worked for this company when it first opened its Belfast office, and i stayed for 2 years. This company is a 'Financial Claims Company' who do PPI claims...need i say more...well yes i do!!! During my 2 years i witnessed a small company go from being a decent place to work with a great atmosphere turn into an office similar to that from the film Boiler Room. The reason why i reference that movie is because there is NO job security (i cant emphasise that enough) and there is a disgraceful culture of miss-selling which is discretely encouraged by management. Although it is important to note that due to the wildly unrealistic targets (7 claims per day) miss-selling was the only way of achieving them. The attrition rate in this organisation is by far the highest i have ever witnessed. Within 2 months of me leaving i could have walked into that office and only knew about 5 people out of a workforce of around 60. It is so high that they hired a Recruitment Consultant to work internally because she was doing so much work for them with Randstad (recruitment company). The management team seem to believe that Northern Ireland employment law does not apply to them, there is a constant fear among the advisor's that they are going to get fired. My final issue i had was that in the 2 years i worked there i only ever received 4 pay-checks that were actually correct. To be fair it was always resolved even if it meant me waiting until next months pay-check before receiving what was owed to me, but in my opinion it says a lot about a company if they are still making the same mistake on a regular basis 2 years on. I have given this company 2 stars because i met some fantastic people and in the beginning there was a good atmosphere.
