Vantaggi
- the company is truly wanting the best for their employees and business, not just money orientated (although obviously money is a factor in decision-making) - most people are incredible individuals to work with and you generally have a strong organisational culture of wanting the best for everyone, helping others out and improvement. Toxicity and backstabbing are hard to be found here - flexible working is incredible, I have never experienced something more flexible than this. They will accommodate you better than you can imagine - management is very reasonable and down-to-earth. They don’t sugarcoat or hide things, very open and transparent - you have a lot of autonomy in the way you work, no micro-management (at least in the teams I worked)
Svantaggi
- Career progression can be quite slow (in terms of promotions and salary increases) - It feels a bit like the company is not in control of where they are heading, but rather build and bend around factors outside of the business. Obviously, everyone needs to adapt to the market, but there is a lack of clear direction from the business and what they want and where they want to be in the longterm
