If you contributed 200% and ticked all KPI but somehow got one bad review or one person annoyed with you, bye-bye. - Different timezone and too much bureaucracy slowed down the progress. - Sometimes you had to work till late night and public holiday while your boss goes vacation - Good agile depends on how good your Scrum Master and Product Owner. A bad one will demotivate the whole team.
