I was happy enough to work here as I liked my boss and coworkers. Work wasn’t too difficult, but could be intense at times during important trade shows. Started as part time, then eventually became full time. Benefits included health and paid time off once full time.

Svantaggi

Didn’t pay a lot, but was slightly higher than minimum wage at the time. There were months where construction work was going on in the office which could be very loud or distracting. The culture also changed a lot the last few months I was there. Covid-19 didn’t help matters.

Hybrid schedule (2 in office days a week), lots of training and ongoing learning, very supportive and understanding leadership, with a great culture and work environment!

Not a lot of room for growth and upward mobility, and work can be very busy during the height of the tradeshow season.

Coming from a project manager position, this company is highly unorganized and have the wrong information for leading important projects such as time and dates. You will be assisting multiple project managers instead of being a direct report with no training whatsoever. They take injuries and emergencies lightly and will throw more work at you instead. There is no feeling of togetherness at the office instead just a lot of whispers and judgment. There is no professional work attire at all, one of the content managers wears sweatpants, the mangers may just wear jeans. If you are highly skilled find somewhere else that values you, here they dont even give you an hour lunch and you are expected back at your desk immediately maybe after twenty minutes from your personal lunch. Stay away from this company and this job offer if it comes your way the salary and work ethic is not comparable to a normal PM salary. There is no opportunity for growth here as it is a family business and the director roles have are within the family status.
