A once great Seattle company caved to consultants to appease shareholders. Sadly, all that 'human first' rhetoric that was pushed during- and post- pandemic is a myth. Just corporate propaganda. Once the stock dropped to a temporary nadir in spring 2023, the leadership decided to pull the lever and RIF some 623 employees, the majority high performers. Yet, it doesn't seem that anyone at C-suite took responsibility, and all kept their jobs. However, they cored out the soul of F5.
