Vantaggi
If you have no prior experience or are a fresh graduate, this role may serve as a stepping stone. The colleagues are great.
Svantaggi
Benefits? Basically nonexistent. Annual leave is extremely limited and earned at a painfully slow rate. Working hours are long and rigid—9am to 7pm—with zero flexibility. I’m studying part-time, yet when I request to leave early for classes, I’m required to “pay back” the hours the next day. Leave at 6pm? You owe them one hour.
Overtime is never paid. I’ve worked weekends multiple times and did not receive a single cent in OT compensation. The salary is low, and there is no career growth here whatsoever.
Even basic claims are a struggle. Taking a taxi for work purposes and trying to claim it feels like begging—they are extremely reluctant to reimburse anything. The clock-in system requires employees to take a photo of themselves, which perfectly reflects the culture: there is zero trust between employer and employee.
Management culture is also deeply unprofessional. I personally witnessed a colleague being publicly embarrassed by the director’s wife—dragged from department to department and shouted at in front of others. This kind of behaviour is humiliating, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable in any workplace.
Managers have no real authority and are essentially powerless. Almost every decision is controlled by upper management, which is run by a husband-and-wife duo. If you’re not family, don’t expect benefits, growth, or understanding. Everything is locked within them, and non-family employees are clearly not valued.
