Svantaggi
I was glowing when I first started at FIGS. I started as a contractor and it quickly turned full-time and was so excited to go into work every day. Within the first few weeks Trina got the whole office's attention for something big that I did for them. But after about four months, something switched my direct boss. I was on a family vacation and she called me because she was disappointed in something. From then on when I was back, it felt like she was always targeting me. A colleague who's now a friend saw how she spoke to me one day at a department meeting and was appalled. I was walking on egg shells every day and was scared to do anything because I didn't know if it would backfire on me or not. Heather overall was good to me but she had her moments. We were heading to an event and she asked me to call an Uber while she finished getting ready. When she got downstairs, she was like "I'm not getting in" because I didn't call an Uber Black or at least a "comfort" call. My direct boss called one then -- my boss would do anything for the co-founders and basically bowed down to them. So embarrassing and surly didn't help my rating. Another time my boss told me one thing and General Counsel told me something else. They both were telling me I need to do something their way. At this point, my boss was already making work a living hell so I had no idea what to do. At one point I had to just run out because I couldn't hide my tears. I never would imagine to do this, but the thought of just not coming back came to my mind because of how stressed I was feeling. Also, people were let go left and right. If you see someone not come in one day, you check to see if they're actually OOO or if they were let go because their Slack would be deactivated.
