Vantaggi
- Nice, friendly colleagues - A well-stocked pantry + the many snacks that the lovely folks bring back from their travels - Spacious office with a ton of meeting rooms - Hybrid work arrangements that give employees a lot of flexibility - No questions asked mental health day offs (part of sick leave allowance) - Half day every last Friday of the month - Work-life balance in this agency is quite achievable, late nights and working OT aren't the norm - A very good HR who is your advocate, even if they can't change certain things - Generally little micromanagement, at least for me, and there's enough trust that we'll get our work done the agreed deadline
Svantaggi
- Some team leads are incompetent at most things except delegating work and being problematic, I'm not sure any amount of sensitivity training is enough for at least two of them - Supervisor was less than supportive, not an effective advocate or team leader, and I had to put in a disproportionate amount of work to advance my own growth - Seems to lack a clear business strategy - Not very integrated, people work in silos - Lack of transparency in recent cost cutting measures that resulted in a huge loss of trust - A small handful of quite rude clients that we take too much nonsense from, and maybe part of that's agency life, but part of that is leaders who don't stick up for their own people enough
