Vantaggi
I love working for FIS. There is a lot of camaraderie and transparency throughout the business
Svantaggi
It is currently open enrollment time and FIS has some of the worst benefits of anyone I speak with, and that includes employees of Fortune 500 companies as well as small to medium sized private companies. This year they actually had the nerve to say they haven’t raised premiums in 4 years yet I have the documentation that reflects otherwise. They also only offer High Deductible plans which, yes are cheaper monthly premiums but when you have to ask yourself or your family, “do you really need a doctor” you know there is a problem. My daughter walked around with a broken toe, unbeknownst to me, because I didn’t have the money to take her to see a doctor. I would much rather pay double or triple premium and have just a copay to see a doctor. They raised premiums by 8% this year yet they only give 2% raises. Since COVID everything has gone up in price except for salaries, they really need to consider giving some cost of living increases, they should be ashamed of themselves. The other problem I have is that FIS constantly promotes health and well being but as of January 1, they will no longer cover weight loss medication. How are we supposed to get healthy if they don’t help us pay for the medication we need to get healthy in the first place. I want to stay here until I retire but I am starting to think I will not be able to afford it.
