Vantaggi

Most co-workers are great people to work with. PTO, vacation, benefits. Some trainings and certifications are offered which can help you get a better job elsewhere. You get to know the park extremely well. They provide you with a uniform stipend.

Svantaggi

-Extremely hard labor outside all day long with little to no breaks. -Low pay ($15/hr). Raises are around 3% which does not keep up with inflation, so you make less every year you work there essentially. -Absolutely no room for advancement. -Rely on the old “we’re a family”attitude but do not value their employees, land management side of things is extremely undervalued by admin. -Yearly reviews make it impossible to score highly, they expect perfection but pay does not reflect this. -Very high turnover. They seem to experience a near complete turnover of staff every couple years, and in some departments nearly every year. -Diversity is very low but it seems this is something they are working on improving.
