Vantaggi
Coworkers had a lot of energy.
Svantaggi
I completed three interviews with this company, and one day of actual on the job training. In my interviews, I was told what my salary would be, and also told that in 7-10 months I would be on the management team. I was offered a position, quit my job, and relocated for this opportunity. On my first day, I was very unpleasantly surprised. THIS IS A DOOR TO DOOR SALES JOB- NOTHING ELSE. I spent the day walking up and down the side of the highway in a suit and heels trying to sell bags of make up to McDonald's employees, Papa Johns workers, servers at Japanese restaurants, the cashiers gas stations, you name it. The worst part is that the salary I was told about DID NOT EXIST. This is a COMMISSION ONLY job. I would not have relocated for a job that was 100% commission with all my money coming from eye shadow and make up remover. The woman training me has been there for two years and is still waiting to be promoted to management. I spoke to the owner of the company about my concerns, and all he did was tell me that I was feeling the way that i was feeling because I'm a "millennial..." when in actuality, I felt the way I did because I was told I would be making a base salary of 28,000-30,000 annually that suddenly did not exist. Also, they do not tell you that this is a Monday-Saturday job and you will be driving at least two hours a day. You will not be compensated for gas, either. I feel like I was lied to about every aspect of this job, and you could not pay me to go back. Which they wouldn't do anyway...
