STAY FAAAAAR AWAY - Recensione dipendente - Senior Software Engineer presso FabSoft

Despite having reservations after reading other reviews before I started, I found working with Gary to be a very good experience for the time I was at FabSoft. Gary had very clear leadership for us on his vision for the company, removing guesswork as to what we should be doing on a day-to-day basis. He was also very flexible when I had a doctor's appointment or needed to leave early. When we didn't know exactly what leadership was expecting on a task, Gary was always willing to jump on a call to clear things up and set us on the right path. If you are willing to put in the work, this is a great place to grow your career and learn a lot about the software industry.

If you aren't the kind of person who prefers remote work, it may not be for you. Otherwise, no cons in my experience.

There are no pros to working at FabSoft. FYI - the review by the "Product Manager" is actually from the owner himself trying to balance out all of the negativity with a good review. There is no Product Manager at FabSoft.

The owner is very difficult to get along with and has major trust issues. He will forbid any type of communication both in-house with employees as well as any outside communication. He constantly tracks Internet usage and does not provide you with essential needs to work (ex. desk phone). In addition, he hires multiple people for one position and keeps his favorite while letting go of the rest. He has no consideration for your well-being (ex. electrical wires and insulation hanging from the conference room ceiling), your work/life balance (ex. no vacation time for the first year and very limited personal time), nor career building goals (ex. does not provide essential resources, and fires employees left and right). He does not listen to new ideas nor wants to answer questions about his own business, but would rather you figure out the job on your own, and then fire you when you don't know the products and the business.
