Vantaggi
They have great benefits and the pay is definitely competitive
Svantaggi
High turnover and employee burnout. As new hires quickly realize they're in over their heads and leave, the adjusters left behind are drowned in claims. Those of us that don't quit because we need the money are either working almost 7 days a week just to try to stay current on workload or having to go on leaves of absence due to extreme stress/anxiety of being forced to meet unrealistic metrics with no end in sight to how many more claims will get dumped on you when another person quits. They can't retain employees because of this. Metrics mean more to the company than you or the customers, and even if you're meeting them, you can't win. Either you closed the claim too quickly to meet the cycle time metric or your preliminary repair estimate was not good enough and you should have gathered more information...while your emails are blowing up, your phone is ringing off the hook, and your stuck each week in 1-2 hrs worth of meetings to discuss why you all suck and what knee-jerk reaction changes they're making next that they'll expect you to do... immediately. No excuses, no leniency. Just perform or die. Trust me, if you stay here as long as I have, it's very likely you may die due to what this place does to your mental and physical health. Also, if you do have any trouble with meeting metrics, forget about trying to apply for a different position internally to save yourself, you won't be considered.
