Highly stressful and you need a strong stomach to keep up. Disorganized. You have to buy the company’s clothing... very bad quality and very expensive. Pressure and stress daily. Too much responsibility and not enough staff. If there is a new project, they first implement it, run it and then hire and train new people (if). There is no clear job description. Vacation is not given as required by law. Little respect for the employees.

You get to meet great people along the way. POS system is a great tool.

Fastenal does not do performance reviews. Trying to get a raise is near impossible. When you ask for a raise they upper management says that you need to sell more..... Fastenal seems like it's trying to weed out there tenure employees and higher college grads with no experience and little pay to replace seasoned personnel.
