The Fearless that I left in 2024 felt like a run-of-the-mill government contractor. As they grew out of small business protections, that employee-centric mindset faded away as well. New leadership led to focus on profits and a level of micromanagement that had never been present before. Middle management appears to be put in a position to have to solve all of the problems, leaving them with pretty poor work/life balance if they want to be successful. They also acquired another consulting company that seemed to be very awkwardly integrated into the existing business.
