Even as a full-time employee, I am able to have many of my needs met, and am able to climb the corporate ladder if I so wish. There are many opportunities for advancement within the company.

The company culture can be toxic. Very much based upon a "reactive" and not "proactive" attitude towards solving and preventing problems. Generally when speaking with people, you hear more negative feedback about current situations rather than anything positive. This type of culture can wear you down over time, and can make even hard workers not want to work here anymore.
