Completely ignore their employees - Recensione dipendente - Auditor presso FedEx Freight

I hate to write a negative review. I did really like working at FedEx but they make very negative choices for their employees. they are definitely about the bottom line and they don't care to even show it. They overcomplicate simple tasks trying to watch their employees instead of focusing on quality work. I spend my days just trying to keep up with their quotas instead of pushing out bills that are going to Bill correctly. they jump to conclusions without even talking with you and never say what they're thinking. They need to be more honest with their employees. They also need to inform their employees better. The managers are very busy truly they need more management. The managers here are good people but they have a lot on their plate. It's very disheartening to feel like you're bothering your manager every time you talk with them. They seemed receptive enough when you interact with them but emails are never answered oftentimes chat messages are also ignored. There's a lot of favoritism in this FedEx. Seems like a lot of people get the job at don't deserve it and others work extra hard and don't really get acknowledged at all. In one instance I saw another employee get rewards while I don't even get acknowledgement. I've worked there less time and no more than this person in most cases. I have helped them on numerous accounts but because I don't go searching for the boss every issue apparently I'm not acknowledged for my efforts because I can stand on my own and don't need to be held accountable with a manager. Ultimately it's not a secure place for some people. I think it's a good place to work if you get in and happen to be liked. Unfortunately, it's a little bit like just going back to high school again. It's very much like a popularity contest. If you're not outgoing and assertive you can expect to be walked on, made fun of, or ignored. I may sound like I have a bad attitude but I really don't. In fact, this is the only job I have ever felt this way. The atmosphere is quiet and a bit snooty. there are really nice people here and I think everyone tries to be polite but a lot of people are also very uppity. I think there are parts of this company that are great but just be aware that you're going to run into a lot of lack.
