Vantaggi
Training was good if you had a good center manager. If not, the old Kinko's "throw 'em" to the wolves approach seemed to be the fallback position. Salary & wages were decent, benefits were good.
Svantaggi
Lack of consistent focus on driving business. Selling a bunch of $2.99 pens is not going to make up for losing a major account that does $10K annually , due to lack of center staff/sales staff. Lack of consistent focus on standards and initiatives. Been witness to both employees and managers who have been disciplined for not greeting customers, however busy it might be, or staffing levels. Can't greet every single person within a minute of walking into a center, if you're trying to assist three other customers at the same time. Probably can greet most of them, but if you miss one; be prepared for the write up. But it really depends on who the upper management likes. Haven't been greeted once since I moved to a better job......yet some of those managers are still with FXO. One even is now a DM. Go figure. Training for managers was a joke. They had a good high level training, which involved going to the corporate office. But try and get any training/followup with your DM or Regional........never happened, unless you were a favorite.
