Run professionally with HR department, professional development, clear expectations and annual review process, recognition opportunities and some attempts at creating a corporate community (pot lucks, volunteer days, etc.). Annual increases can be earned, which isn't always the case in government contract work.

Svantaggi

PTO is very low. Some supervisors are very available and advocate for their direct reports, others leave them to languish and don't back them up when there are issues on the federal side.

Remote, the manager was flexible and understanding

The company is interesting to say the least. It seems unorganized, and has zero culture. I understand people wanting to be all about business but the individuals here all seemed like they didn't like each other. On meetings there would never be a "hi how are you" it just straight to business and updates. Leadership didn't ever seem present/ none were ever on the same page. When there were critical updates C-suite would get on and give a vague announcement making something serious seem funny? it was just odd, I've actually never understood how a C-suite individual can laugh about people getting let go, showing some empathy would've been normal and nice. I could probably write an essay on the things i really did not enjoy. But if you're someone looking for a job (that pays really minimum/ remote work) this can be for you.
