Vantaggi
Some days, the CEO doesn't shout at you. Being remote full-time helps with this.
Svantaggi
Everything that could go wrong went wrong: * Horrendous cultural. Management was constantly lying and berating employees for ridiculous, pie-in-the-sky deadlines. Zero empathy or care from the CEO, pretty sure he is a psychopath that read one too many Elon Musk news articles. * The product is a sham, and customers were lied to. Employess know it. Management know it. Hence morale was low. * Zero growth opportunities. The place is run as a sweat shop: expect to be hired, used for everything you got, then dumped into the world again, but only this time as a shell of your former self. All they care about is getting the ARR up as fast as possible so they can swindle some unknowing acquiring buyer in a few months. Do yourself a favor and take your talent elsewhere. Maybe I'm coming off as some disgruntled employee here. But the fact of the matter is, while I was at Federato and after, I rarerly came across another employee who did not have the same sentiments as me. People were and are terrified to speak their minds their. And understandably so: the management has made ex-employees sign a whole host of legal documents to not defame the company. If you are a potential candidate/customer, all you need to ask anyone there is this: what is the turnover at the company, what is the product, and is the CEO an honest/kind leader? Good luck...
