Vantaggi
- Plenty of smart talented people - Lots of freedom to do things the way you want
Svantaggi
- Leadership doesn't really seem to have a plan or know what's going on. I was moved across 4 different teams in the 5 months I was there. The projects I was on were basically only managed well when I stepped up to manage them, and often leadership would come in with a new constraint that meant all my previous planning meant nothing - Bizarre forced pushed to make people use AI as much as possible. - They try and talk like work-life balance is important, but implicitly, they really crank up stress around timelines and getting things done quickly to an extent that you don't really feel like you can finish things at a comfortable pace. I frequently felt that I was pushed to get things done quickly, rather than well. - Speaking of, lot of technical debt in the code and in the documentation. - I was laid off after 5 months, despite actively receiving positive feedback the whole 5 months I was there. I was sold in the interview process cause I really do feel like I talked to some great, smart people . In fact, I overlooked the fact that the pay was not as much as I expected because of the impact in the interview process, but once I got in, any semblance of being "well put together" went out the door.
