Management really helps you when needed. Tips are really good and our gas fee covers all gas used on deliveries! Can either schedule a shift, pickup a block or check in randomly. Good job if you want freedom to decide when to work. We also get tips paid daily which is a huge benefit which adds to the flexibility.

Sometimes we have to wait at restaurants for the food but thats about it.

Sometimes you get an order right at the end of your shift, but it would be the same as working at a store--you don't turn away a customer just because it's almost time for the store to close. You just have to factor that into your personal plans or when you give management your availability.
