Vantaggi
They hire graduates with no industry experience and are willing to let you learn on the job. You will learn a lot of basic good practices, and the codebase is very well put together for such a large number of developers working on it. Benefits are decent, there's healthcare and death in service.
Svantaggi
No formal technical programming training. The tech is so outdated and specific to the company that it's not really applicable to many other places. The work is boring and no responsibilities are given to junior developers within the first year. The culture is basically non-existant, I could count the number of conversations I had with my co-workers over the course of a year on two hands. The documentation is poor at best, it's difficult to work out how to do anything as all the information seems to be stuck in the senior managers heads. The pay is not great.
