      The company had some loyal employees who have been here for decades. I had not expected something like this in today's time.

      Upper management has lagged behind. They need to upgrade their technologies and mindsets according to the 21st century. They are aware of this issue but avoid it. This terrible attitude creates problems for employees who want to enhance their efficiency. Many frustrated and stressed employees gave up and quit when they realized the management wouldn't change their poor attitude and old-school ways.

      Change can be difficult. It is not always easy. We have committed to building a team that is continuing to bring in new ideas and be part of the change, so we continue to be competitive in the market. We recognize that great ideas come from all sources and to be successful it can't just be from the top down, and we value the ideas our employees generate. We recognize that sometimes there are growing pains in the process, and we are committed to learning from the past as we forge the path of our future.

      Filamatic has been around for 70 years and is a well established family owned manufacturing business. A significant number of the employees have been there over 10 years with many staying 30 and 40+ years. Leadership is open to ideas and focused on investing in key areas of the business to foster growth. Being a small company you often have the ability to wear many hats and see the impact your contributions make to the company.

      Employees here at Filamatic receive terrible support from the leadership. To be honest, I rarely feel the presence and guidance of our management. Instead, we get micromanaged by our supervisors all the time. Instead of guidance, what we get is constant, unnecessary meddling from the leadership.
