FinThrive laid off dozens of individuals right before Christmas in 2022. Although it is completely understandable that FinThrive is running a business and making difficult choices like laying off people is an unfortunate, but necessary event that companies are required to perform. However, when a company decides to lay off dozens of employees right before the holiday season, when combined with pushing employees to complete an "employee satisfaction survey" the day before the layoffs are announced (to improve the employee satisfaction score which FinThrive publicly advertises as a "best place to work") this is an egregious act by the executive leadership.
