I wanted to leave insurance and go into debt consolidation because I can see the writing on the wall regarding many industries in this new decade and do not want to get caught again like in 2008. I have been in Professional management and sales for many years with companies like AAA, Allstate, Farmers and even owned my own GEICO agency for many years. I have worked with C level professionals and in sales and management most of my life and I have found that when you first start with a company you are in that honeymoon stage for a month or two but then reality sets in and THE THINGS you did not know about that particular firm end up popping up to haunt you and you only then realize that sometimes the grass is not always greener with someone else. Well I can honestly say not here! The grass REALLY IS GREENER here because management/owners make a real difference and truly care. I have never known fellows like Chris and Shawn who care as much as they do about what they do and and who are awesome to work with as well. Along with others here like Mercedes/mngr and the entire staff where there is class and who show by their actions that they truly care about the quality of their work and treatment of their clients and fellow employees. Right now I feel like I hope this never changes for me because for probably the first time in my life I work at a place I ACTUALLY ENJOY working at! Even my own businesses were not as enjoyable as working here. For the first time I really love MONDAYS! Can you believe it? 33 years working and this is the first time. The level of corporate and management stress is very low and the only stress you will have is to make sure I make as many numbers and as much money as I possibly can and for me that is necessary stress that just puts more $$ in my families pocket. Thank you First Choice for this opportunity! I pray that we only bring on employees that will continue being honest, helpful and of the same excellent character as those around us already. If yer lazy or a cancer in personality STAY AWAY, otherwise WELCOME AND LET'S SUCCEED TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!

If you have never done debt consolidation like I never had done before either then you'd better be able to relate with people well and warm up to them easily and quickly. You must be able to adapt to all sorts of different personalities and my advice is to be warm and sympathetic always! Be a better listener! You really need to work consistently and not need to be micromanaged. Do not come here if you are the type to look for angles in doing less work. You need to put in an honest 8 hour day! No walking away from your desk because if you do A. they will know it and B. you will suffer in your production. This job requires follow up so if you are good at that then you will be great in this job but if you are not the type to like to do follow up then you will suffer in this. Be ready to make adjustments in your sales personality and understanding. BE ORGANIZED AND TAKE NOTES! Soak in what you are taught and you will do fine. If you do not like to listen and learn or ask questions than this will be more challenging for you. I say this as a newer employee but having been here long enough now to understand the training flow. There are minimum standards as there should be and must be in order to keep the company healthy however the standards are not so high that a solid salesperson cannot achieve them month in and month out.

I have worked at First Choice Debt Relief for almost 6 years and I have to say I am very happy! I have worked at other organizations that really dont seem to care about their employees, but at First Choice I have always felt like they cared about me. That is important to me because I know places that treat you like a number and you never know where you really stand...or if you are just a number to them. I know where I stand and I have seen major growth in myself not only position and income wise, but I have grown as a person. I have attended seminars that company sent me to, I have attended conferences, and as a person I have really grown.

I thought really long and hard about what I would classify as a con, and I cannot think of any. Working in sales for most of my career here, the older managers who no longer work here could have helped us more. However, First Choice responded rather quickly and made adjustments, and now I would say I have no complaints!
