Disappointing Experience - Recensione dipendente - Remote Medical Coder presso First Class Solutions

I worked there for almost a year. I only actually worked on coding for about 4 months, the rest of the time no work was given to me. After the last work assignment ended, we were told we were taking a break. After about a month I emailed management regarding work and was told we were still on break. I emailed again about a month later and was told there was no work to match my skill set, with no detail as to what the work was that didn't match my skills. During the break time, there was no communication from management, no company-wide or department related emails. The only email I received from management was an email password change. Everything just went silent. I finally came to the conclusion that resigning was the best thing to do, since I wasn't working and there was no communication about future work. I emailed the owner to give my resignation. Not even a minute later she responded, with a short "Thanks for notifying us. We will remove you from PRN list." No discussion at all. No interest in trying to help understand why I decided to resign. No explanation of how the business works, or my work quality. I was shocked to see this whole situation handled so unprofessionally.
