usual working hours but again depending on the team u might work long hours regularly. Apart from that their are no pros
Svantaggi
n one line: If someone pointed a gun at my head and asked me to join Firsthive, I still wouldn’t. 1.Worst Management Ever: From the CEO to product to engineering, everyone at the top is highly unqualified and lacks a learning mindset. 2.No CTO, No Direction: There’s no CTO, and the engineering team is led by an old employee who knows nothing about the current tech stack or modern technologies. If you want to learn or grow as an engineer, don’t even think about joining. 3.CEO’s Ego Trip: The CEO will ask for feedback, but if you point out anything wrong, he’ll give some crappy explanation instead of admitting his mistakes. 4.Blatant Partiality: One employee wasn’t allowed to work from home for their own marriage. Another was denied WFH for a family funeral. Meanwhile, a senior employee worked from home for 3 months straight without issues. 5.Blame Game Central: I was assigned a project after the deadline had already passed. No one told me the new deadline, and as a newcomer, I got zero help from seniors. When I couldn’t meet the deadline, the blame was dumped entirely on me. 6.No Job Security: They recently forced an employee to quit. Safe to say, your job here is never secure. 7.Pathetic Hikes: Good hikes are reserved for senior employees. Meanwhile, hardworking juniors pulling long hours get hikes that don’t even keep up with inflation. 8.Tech Disaster: They don’t have a proper tech stack and have no idea what they’re doing. They once hired a consultant to plan their architecture for an entire year—and nothing came out of it. They even hired someone to lead the tech team, and he resigned after a month because of how poor the company’s tech condition is.
