The communication to the merchandiser team is almost non-existent. Routes are modified with NO prior warning, while we find out as we load our truck in the morning. A recent system changeover was completed with training that lasted less then 5 minutes, while it sounded like management had hours of classroom training. Most learning took place on the dock while we voiced issues to other merchandisers and heard how they handled. Its crystal clear that recent changes (new system, cameras in trucks) are put in place to further micro-manage this team and tell them what they do wrong. NOTHING about how our customers are doing - sales #'s, shrinkage, etc is shared with this team. All we hear is if a customer is leaving the comonay, and of course, what they do wrong.
