Vantaggi
- There are some REALLY talented and amazing people that work here (but I don't think the environment allows them to reach their potential) - Compensation and corporate benefits are good. - Work/Life balance is great—very much a 9-5 culture... but that also comes with some cons
Svantaggi
- Limited access to software and technology makes innovation and collaboration difficult (everything has to be Accenture approved) - Extremely corporate surroundings (you are shoehorned into the Accenture corporate office—be prepared to be looked at strangely or treated like a zoo animal because you aren't wearing a suit like one of Accenture's analysts). Definitely not a workspace that inspires creativity. - Lack of clarity around growth opportunities. Since the Toronto studio began there was little to no information around career paths or how to grow within the organization as a designer - Lack of culture. If there ever was a cultural activity it just seemed like it was a hasty last minute decision (eg. potluck lunches—it's a multi-million dollar company and yet employees were asked to feed the rest of the team(??!)) - Everyone leaves at 5pm on the dot. Working on something important at 5:15 and need some help? Better wait till whoever you need gets home and hopefully they check their email. - Go to any other studio in the Fjord network and prepare to be blown away—they really seem to care about the organization, culture, and doing innovative work. Toronto is lacking. - Most of senior management don't really seem to care about what the employees think or what their values are. The work that comes in seems more to appease Accenture higher ups than reflect the employee's values.
