I have nothing positive to say on the tech side. On the non-tech side of things I can say this: - Great culture - Great parties & events - Beautiful new offices - Location is quite good because of all the services that are around - The CEO is an incredibly inspiring person. He's the kind of leader you want when things are tough and you need someone to rally everyone together to get through hard times. - Their philanthropical efforts deserve recognition, they're really great at that and the CEO really cares to help the community. Honestly, props for that.

There's a lot to say about FlightHub. First thing is that FlightHub used to be Momentum Travel Group. This is important because they rebranded and they have a higher rating on GlassDoor as FlightHub than MTG. Don't be fooled, however, a lot of what's written for MTG still applies so be sure to check out those reviews as well. On compensation... Don't expect to get a decent salary offer. They are unwilling to match what other companies are offering and try to assuage that by saying you can get more with the bonuses. A bonus is a bonus. As in, an additional perk on top of the base. Don't try to sell a bonus as some incredible perk because it is not. On tech... If you're reading this as a tech person: Stop, do yourself a favor and go interview somewhere else. The tech at FlightHub is paltry at best. They like to ask candidates for skills with modern frameworks like React or Laravel, and then when hired they find out that they're going to be working on a gigantic mess of legacy code that has yet to receive any decent modernizations. There is no significant tech investments happening. Nothing was being done to modernize the frontend (server side rendering with ugly af HTML and PHP all over the views). The backend is STILL running an incredibly outdated framework in a massive monolithic application. Their poor mobile site is a disastrous and incomplete mess of code. As of this writing there is not one single person doing any kind of maintenance or improvement to their mobile applications either. Their deployment process is truly sad. And old, it hasn't changed in 4+ years. You have to get into a queue and wait for your turn to deploy. Once it's your turn, you have to manually log into one of the production servers and pull the latest version of the code. Forget about unit tests. The unit tests that do exist are only for the absolute crucial parts of the code. I was there for 3.5+ years and didn't get to write a single unit test. We were never given any time to write them. There is barely any planning. Execution of projects is generally expected to be within 2 weeks, sometimes more. Forget about having stories, poker planning, or decent specifications. These don't exist. It's basically "hey, let's do this" and you're left to your own devices on how to execute this in the fastest way possible, with no regard for proper software architecture and design to make sure it'll scale. On career development... There is no way for you to know how to grow from regular dev to senior, or from senior to lead. They have no idea how to help their employees grow within their positions and their ambitions/goals. So much so that in the 3.5+ years I was there I was never asked how I wanted to grow. I got a promotion from out of nowhere and that was it. On management... The CEO, as mentioned in the pros section, is incredibly inspiring. What he is not, however, is a good CEO. It's clear that the company grew but he hasn't grown with it in terms of CEO skills. He decided to take over at the beginning of 2019 and other than getting a very cool renovated office, nothing got better since he took over. The executives are so focused on revenue that they are letting everything else fall by the wayside. It's the only thing they focus on, which is great for company $$$ growth, but it's absolutely abysmal for company staff growth. They have had *years* to little by little develop plans for how to grow their employees yet they have absolutely nothing to show for in that regard. The favoritism is pretty rampant if you know who to look at. The recent COVID-19 layoffs were a big example of that. The buddy buddies of the CEO were all spared even though they were very clearly non-essential or not as talented as others that did get laid off. On ethics... They have no problem pushing the envelope on ethical things that could be seen as a gray area. Going with the recent COVID-19, I heard from multiple people that got laid off that the company had the audacity to email all of them and ask them if they were comfortable going to the offices to drop off their IT equipment. This was done WHILE THE QUARANTINE WAS STILL IN PLACE. While their emails did not outright say the phrase "break quarantine", they were basically asking their employees to do so if they were willing to on their own volition. Despicable. Conclusion: Work at FlightHub if you wanna have an entry level position after graduating. If you're looking for a place that will help you grow, then look elsewhere.
